- Reduced stigma and misconceptions surrounding incarceration
- Successful integration of individuals back into the community
Partnerships With Local Organizations And Community Groups
Our program has achieved substantial growth in community partnerships and support resources. Over the last year, Unlocked Futures Outreach established 12 new partnerships with local organizations, a 25% increase compared to the previous year. These partnerships have resulted in the creation of 8 new support programs and services tailored to individuals transitioning from incarceration. Additionally, our awareness campaigns have reached 1,000 community members, with 50% of respondents indicating a greater understanding of the reintegration process and a readiness to support returning citizens. This progress highlights the program’s role in expanding the network of resources and fostering a more inclusive community.
Outreach Events
The Unlocked Futures Outreach program has successfully increased community engagement through its targeted outreach events. In the past year, our outreach events have directly involved 250 community members. Post-event surveys show that 35% of attendees have taken concrete actions to support reintegration efforts, such as volunteering or participating in local support groups. Additionally, 40% of event participants reported an increased willingness to engage with formerly incarcerated individuals, reflecting a significant shift towards a more supportive community environment. These figures demonstrate the program’s effectiveness in building bridges between the incarcerated population and the broader community.
